Back when we started development on Guild Wars 1, our very first campaign was Factions in Cantha, and it was our first ever expansion as a studio. It's nice to be back in the chair.Ĭolin: Thank you! This is a really big day for us. Really excited to be here sharing details about End of Dragons.Ĭolin Johanson: Hey, Guild Wars community. With me are our Lead Content Designer, Andrew Gray, and Studio Director, Colin Johanson. We know you've been looking forward to this for a long time, and we have too. I'm Rubi Bayer, ArenaNet Community Manager, and we are all so happy you're here today. Welcome to the Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons First Look. Unidentified voice: No, Kuunavang, it does.

Kuunavang: You know it doesn't have to be this way. Those who face eternity easily forget what lifetime means, what an ending means. Unidentified voice: Mortals are little flames: brilliant, hot, then gone. They built new lives upon the very thing that sought to end theirs. Kuunavang: This land, it's a monument to moral resilience.

Once you level all the other mounts, the Skimmer seems to lose its purpose. We no longer need to skim over dangerous terrain, we can either fly over it or dash through it with something like the Rollerbeetle or Skyscale.

It’s because as the mounts have progressed, the wide range of utilities from the all other Guild Wars 2 mounts have over shadowed the original purpose of the Skimmer. Why didn’t they make a new one instead of recycling an old one? And I’ll tell you WHY. Guild Wars 2 is known for their beautiful and dynamic underwater gameplay it only makes sense that they add an underwater mount. For a while now, the community has been all but begging for an underwater mount. This new mastery addition to the Skimmers was a much-needed addition.
