The AT2020 can be used for a lot of different applications, such as Recording music, doing voice-over work, streaming, creating YouTube videos, and more. So get a different mic and equipment and or make your pc completely silent, or it will never sound good and will always pick up a lot of background noise. Even when it was tuned to that, it will still probably pick up background noise, because it is NOT a mic that is suited for streaming. Never should you ever have your mic more than 6 inches away. Previously I've had a mic built into a webcam which worked awesome, reason I bought the At2020 was to get better audio quality.įor me it seems like OBS is not picking up sound from the At2020, but why? Please tell me what I'm doing wrong here :p I've turned the mic up in the control panel of windows and tried boosting the mic in OBS, but nothing happens. Its connected and i've selected it in OBS audio settings but even on full volume it does not pick up sound. I'm having some problems setting up my new mic in OBS, i bought the At2020 usb mic.
